According to the plan, 2019 is the year when Thien Nam Group expands the iron and steel business center system to reach new customers, develop and trade more products with high profit margins. By the end of April 2019, Vietnam’s steel market was still volatile, fluctuations in the price of iron ore, scrap steel in the world increased sharply, causing domestic steel prices to increase, some industries job growth decreased over the same period last year. However, Thien Nam Group’s first quarter of 2019 business results recorded a 5.4% growth in net revenue over the same period in 2018 with the majority of revenue coming from steel trading activities.
On the first day of opening, Thien Nam Steel – Binh Tan branch kicked off the first shipment of nearly 1000 tons of steel to customers in Ho Chi Minh City and the West, bringing positive signals when the steel market in particular and the economy in general is slowly recovering.
