Ricons Construction Joint Stock Company has just updated the progress of the Long Thanh airport passenger terminal project. Accordingly, after more than 2 months of construction starting (from August 31), the lines of the passenger terminal with lotus design have gradually appeared.
The passenger terminal is the package with the largest scale, the most complex technical nature and the longest construction period among the packages of component project 3 of the Long Thanh airport construction investment project phase. 1. The bidding package value is 35,000 billion VND, the winning bidder is Vietur joint venture with a construction period of 39 months.
The implementation of the first phase of the bidding package is actively being implemented. Dozens of tower cranes were installed to serve the construction of the passenger terminal.
In particular, the project has completed 100% of tower crane installation (24 tower cranes); Fence construction reached 100%; Construction and leveling of public service roads reached 85%; Excavation construction for the underground section reached 35%.
In addition, the work of pulling electric wires and erecting 6 transformer stations, energizing 6 transformer stations has been completed, ready to serve the station construction.
Contractors of the Vietur joint venture have mobilized more than 1,000 personnel and 400 pieces of equipment and machinery to the construction site. After more than 2 months of starting up, the contractor consortium has now completed the erection of two concrete stations, is preparing to erect two more concrete stations on the construction site and additional stations outside to serve the peak phase of the project. judgment.
In total, more than 1,500 foundation piles were driven at the Long Thanh airport passenger terminal construction area.
The contractors’ operating area has been put into operation, serving 500 – 600 engineers.
Phase 1, when put into operation, Long Thanh international airport has a capacity to serve 25 million passengers and 1.2 million tons of goods/year. It is expected that after completing all phases, Long Thanh international airport will reach a capacity of up to 100 million passengers/year.
